Dreamforce - A Techie’s Paradise

Dreamforce – Salesforce’s 14th annual conference, begins today at San Francisco, CA. The four-day event is expecting more than 170,000 attendees from 83 countries, and 3,000-plus speaking sessions.

With 1,600+ sessions, 400+ theaters, 100+ hours of hands-on training, and 75 Circles of Success, Dreamforce is probably like a paradise for a techie. The event stands out as it inspires, offers infinite opportunities to learn and network like there is no tomorrow, empower every person to achieve more, and give something back.

Believed to be among the largest tech events in the world, Dreamforce is a wonderful platform to learn something new from the industry pioneers, share best practices, connect with industry peers, and grow your business opportunities.

What sounds most interesting to me is the innovative session like “Hands-on training for building an app”, conducted by experts. Being a developer, another interesting session probably would be ‘Circles of Success’, an interactive exchange of questions and answers, where Salesforce product experts will talk about the challenges, and answer adoption and product-related topics.

At Salesforce, giving back is integrated into everything the company does, that is why they prefer to call Dreamforce a non-profit tech event. You get an opportunity to participate in charitable activities, observe kids coding, maker workshops, and campus tours in action. Each day will highlight a different theme with unique opportunities to get involved, learn more and give something back. Thus, the destination of enormous magnitude will also teach us to lend a hand and lift a heart as well.

Suyati has the privilege for the second time to present a paper at Dreamforce. We invite all of you to hear out our Senior Salesforce Evangelist, Arunraj Pazherickal and co-presenter Abhishek Sivasubramanian, our Tech Lead and Break Out session speaker from Dreamforce 2014. They will be speaking on “SOQL Performance Tuning and the Multi-Tenant Query Optimizer”. Please mark your calendar on 4th Oct from 12-12.30 pm to hear out our speakers at the Developer Break Out session of Dreamforce 2016 (at the Moscone West, Innovation Theater).
