Episerver, a CMS platform provider has acquired Optivo, a Berlin-based company that provides email, omnichannel campaign management and customer intelligence solutions.
Episerver is popular among its marketer clients, for it empowers them to engage with their customers by offering consistent experience on different devices, manage content and marketing campaigns all in one screen.
With this acquisition, Episerver’s content management, commerce, social and mobile marketing strengths will syndicate with Optivo to deliver a truly omnichannel immersive experiences.
By leveraging Optivo’s omnichannel campaign management capabilities, digital marketing professionals using Episerver can now engage with their customers on real-time and interact on one-to-one basis. They can now optimize the way customers respond to their campaigns across channels, by simultaneously tracking and predicting their behavior. In return, Optivo will become a key part of Episerver’s Digital Experience Cloud.
Episerver said it plans to maintain Optivo as a separate and independent company and will also use the company to provide infrastructure as Episerver expands across Europe. Together they can overcome the challenge of serving the customers in the best possible manner and outspread their global footprint.
Episerver provides software for social and e-commerce sites and counts Reebok, Pizza Hut, QVC and Bosch among its clients. Episerver also recently acquired Peerius, an omnichannel personalization vendor that uses machine learning to provide clients with predictive analytics.
