Dream. Dare. Do – that is Suyati’s work principle in a nutshell.

Our previous blog on how Chief Information Officers (CIOs) rely on creating custom business applications to increase their competitive edge is an indication of things to come for the IT industry. The need to create something unique that is based on business needs is changing the very role of the CIO.
CIOs, who once thought only about technology and project delivery, are now thinking about how that technology can be used to connect to customers, and how it will render value to the entire business. Forrester Research shows that 50%-60% of the current CIOs have strong IT background, but the need for it is decreasing rapidly. Today’s CIO needs a multi-faceted background with experience in different areas of a business – manufacturing, operations, finance etc. However only 10% of the CIOs today are focused on business growth and success as their core job requirement. And that needs to change immediately. According to Khalid Kark, VP and Research Director at Forrester Research – “Some CIOs are measured on business outcomes, such as end user or end customer satisfaction, revenue growth, whether they’re bringing in a new revenue stream. They’re not measured on uptime or on-time delivery of projects.”
The transformation of outsourcing vendors into true business partners has reduced the need for technologically well-versed CIOs. By leaving the day-to-day IT functions like recruiting, project planning, resource planning in the hands of their outsourcing vendor, CIOs can focus on aligning their strategy with that of the business.
