CeBIT has been rightly hailed as the digital industry’s most important international event ever. Anyone who has a stake in the digital industry can arrive at CeBIT, Germany, and compare notes on industry developments and trends, and build contacts and business leads. The world’s very first CeBIT event was held in March 1986, when 2,142 exhibitors presented their products and services to a large interested audience, and there has been no looking back since then.
What’s with the name CeBIT?
In Germany, ‘Centrum für Büro und Informationstechnik’ referring to Centre for Office and Information Technology was condensed into the two short and sweet words ‘Ce’ and ‘Bit’, the bit referring to the bit of information processed by a computer, albeit unintentionally.
What will be exhibited at CeBIT in 2011?
