Now you can tap the power of Microsoft dynamics 365 directly from Microsoft Outlook. Yes, Microsoft announces the next generation of the app—Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. This will be available with the December 2016 release of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Dynamics CRM App for Outlook was first introduced in the beginning of 2016. With the introduction of Dynamics 365 in Outlook, sales people and customer service agents can save a considerable amount of time. Microsoft Dynamics 365 app for Outlook helps you boost your productivity. Whether you are using your Outlook mail in desktop, Outlook web app, mobile or tab, you can view the Dynamics 365 data about all your email recipients for both sent and received mails. Dynamics 365 also allows you to easily link an email message to a record with one click. All this can be done without leaving your Outlook inbox. It also displays the most recently used Dynamics 365 information for your convenience.
Dynamics 365 has several inbuilt email templates that enables you to avoid entering same information over and again. You can add the selected template with one click. It also allows you to attach KB articles or sales literature from Dynamics 365. Not just that! You can also track Outlook meetings and appointments. You can track records for any inbuilt entity or your own custom entity. It’s simple to add activities to Dynamics 365 such as tasks, phone calls or appointments. Using the new Dynamics 365 Add-in, you can track your Outlook contacts in Dynamics 365 and link them to a Dynamics 365 account. In this way, all your Outlook contacts will be in sync. This ability to track and link your Outlook contacts is a unique feature introduced in the 2016 Fall update. With the new Add-in, you can get rid of the old Outlook COM Add-in.
