Revenue sharing model for Small and Medium Consulting Companies

2009 has been a tough year for all countries and markets and have one thing in common – less money to spend!  While 2010 has begun on a more optimistic note, in my travels in both Germany and the United States, I find that risk sharing approaches to outsourced consulting and product development is getting much greater attention.

If you are a small or medium consulting company, the model Suyati proposes is simply this – In a longer term (one year or more) dedicated team engagement, we would create teams with specific skills sets for you. You will pay Suyati an approximate “at cost” basis for the team. However, when you turn profitable or the team becomes billable, a pre-defined revenue share is charged. Custom agreements could be created based on your revenue or billing patterns. Basically, you do not have to pay the premium for non-billable downtimes and at the same time offer competitive blended rate solutions to your client base.
