Oracle DBA

Job Description:

• Support Daily Oracle DB Administration tasks including monitoring and tweaking environments for performance, stability, security, storage, etc.
• Participating in projects when Oracle databases are involved, and presenting to technical stakeholders at different levels.
• Perform comprehensive health check of all Oracle environments including hardware, Oracle versions, storage, security etc.
• Recommendations on issues identified during health check, including migrating unsupported instances to newer Oracle versions and hardware.
• Possess practical knowledge of RAC solution and be able to migrate and support instances to HA approach when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:,

· 5 years of core Oracle database administration experience
· Computer Science or equivalent bachelor’s degree

Good to have qualifications:

· MS SQL database experience
· Adhere to on-call support (24/7) and core business hour coverage
· Experience in scripting language such as python and/or perl
