Since 1994, Episerver has been supporting digital leaders create and deliver unique experiences for customers via its Digital Experience Cloud. The platform “unifies digital content, commerce and marketing, including omnichannel solutions for smart personalization and intelligent campaigns”. Episerver also launched the App Marketplace recently to help its customers maximize business investment, improve customer experiences, and extend platform functionality.
The app marketplace is a single, shoppable source that allows customers to browse and buy applications from scores of Episerver-verified technology providers spanning multiple use cases. Customers are always looking for ways to use marketing technologies in various combinations. Marketplace allows them to use unique combinations of systems to power their digital commerce, marketing and operations.
Why is Episerver App Marketplace such a big deal?
Many martech and enterprise software applications are moving toward cloud and SaaS models. Users of these applications are on the lookout for convenient ways to make these new technologies easily accessible, and identify apps that will fit well together and integrate seamlessly into their martech stack. It’s also important that all these benefits come from a reliable provider who guarantees security and operational compatibility, besides more streamlined contracts, payments and deployment. This is where Episerver Marketplace wins hands down.
And there’s more. Marketplace currently has 50 apps available (with scope for more) such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, SharePoint, and PayPal Express Checkout among others. The apps range from analytics and asset management use cases to tax compliance and translation functionality.
How does App Marketplace work?
Purchasing apps from Episerver Marketplace entails completing an order form located on each app product page. Publishers of the apps contact Episerver customers to complete payment and deliver app.
Although all apps are designed to work with various Episerver products including Episerver CMS, Commerce, Personalization, Campaign and Analytics, customers must refer to the publisher’s documentation for information on compatibility and system requirements to utilize apps correctly. Specific version support for each app will be listed on the bottom of the app product page. It’s important to note that some apps may require customers to upgrade to the latest version of Episerver for the apps to be fully functional.
Although the purchase of apps occurs outside of Episerver, installation is hassle-free. The publisher of the app will deliver the application code, NuGet package, or grant access to the service. Either the customer or customer’s Episerver solution partner can deploy the app to the Episerver installation in a code release process.
Choose from a variety of paid and free apps and connectors for your Episerver implementation from the App Marketplace. Write to services@suyati.com if you have more questions regarding Marketplace.
